Acrylic Illustration of “ The Fantastic Mr. Fox”
Laura’s current work displays playful and colorful birds and animals painted freely in acrylics with a focus on decorative pattern, texture and form.
Over her lifespan Laura has embraced many art careers; art teacher, technical illustrator for NASA, art director for a few large screen printing companies, owner of a pottery shop (wholeselling handmade planters), as well as a screen printing company on the Gulf Coast. She has painted murals professionally as well as designed and painted Mardi Gras floats. As a graphic designer she has freelanced signage, designed giftware products, identity packages, logos, toys, brochures and posters over the last 40 years.
