I am a printmaker working primarily in woodcut, though I sometimes incorporate elements of collage and alternative process photography.

The subject matter of my work is generally taken from local themes, whether the architecture of the streets of New Orleans or elements from surrounding nature, such as pine trees, bayou grasses, and palmettos. I carve these designs into blocks of birch or shina plywood using a set of traditional Japanese hand-carving tools and print them by hand using a baren. I use high quality, acid-free Japanese or French papers.
